It is a reading service of unpublished texts offered to the aspiring foreign writers that desire to know the literary and commercial potentialities of their own works.
Here you can send your novels, essays and collection of short stories and receive a detailed evaluation card edited by the Interrete reading committee.
Our readers are professional editors, graduates, collaborators of different publishing houses and literary magazines.

The reading card

The reading card will be the fruit of two different approaches and points of view: that of the common reader, probable future user of the work and the technical one that contemplates on the technique, the style and the narration.
The card will care about the contents of the work, especially the legibility, the rhythm, the structure and lexicon and will be completed besides by a general evaluation and some considerations on target, commercial potentials of the manuscript and possible interventions of recommended editing.

After the card

According to the quality and the result of the reading card, every author will receive a proposal or literary consultation.
Interrete intends to stipulate representation agreements for the worthy manuscripts. In this case, if the author decides to submit the promotion to Interrete, the agency will take an interest in proposing the book to the italian publishers and follow it up to the desired publication.

The service of standard reading is free.

The service of reading in priority formality has a cost of €120,00 (included Vat).

How to send the manuscript and waiting period

First compile the presentation card.

Every manuscript must have attached the presentation card, pointing out the name, the last name, the address, the author's telephone number, the e-mail and must be accompanied by a brief introduction letter.

The manuscripts must be sent via e-mail, with the demanded enclosures, in word A4 layout to: info@interrete.it

We don't give evaluations on synopsis, incipit or extracts of manuscripts.
The standard service is free, therefore we receive a lot of manuscripts every day. The average waiting period is about 60 days. Every author will receive an answer in maximum 90 days.
