The Prophet of the Wind

The Prophet of the Wind is the story of a flute player who, by the sea, at dawn receives mysterious teachings of wisdom, where it seems to hear the echoes of great poets such as Tagore, Gibran, Hesse. A very intense short story, where the particular poetic-prophetic language gradually leads the reader to look at life from above, in a contemplative vision of himself and the world, to rediscover the meaning of things. This work has been really appreciated for its poetry by a lot of readers surfing on the internet, in fact one of them writes: “A book that, rather than reading it, you can live it.”

Five reprints, twenty thousand copies sold in Italy, several translations abroad (Poland, Czech Republic, Columbia), suggest that this little best-seller is now becoming a long-seller, which has often attracted media attention, dedicating several and authoritative reviews. In an era in which fiction slips into banality or often even into the coarseness, this work restores the strong hint of the great classics, and leads the reader to rediscover the highest dimensions of ego
